Pharmacy collection Survey January 7, 2013 I need some feedback in regards to how the pharmacy collection is going in your area? I would like to take your feedback back to Steering meeting on Monday January 7.13. Any issues, challenges, difficulties? Is it easier to use with the changes made?
Pros
- OAK - I find the new collection less time consuming. The new format is excellent. I have no issues.- Lorri Pruden-Jan 7.13
- CON - I think that it is easier at my site than the previous counting of syringes for inotropes, amiodarone propofol, etc.. Marie Laporte. Jan 4.13
- STB_MICU:I find the pharmacy collection is better. Less counting of the number of days makes a difference. It is still a challenge with some complex patients but is more do-able. Laura Kolesar-Jan 7.13
Concerns
- HSC-Marie Laporte - Since she picks up shift at HSC in MICU opinion is this: Collection at HSC MICU seems to be more challenging; perhaps due to the acuity, complexity of the patients requiring more drugs, some which are used infrequently and therefore less familiar. Marie Laporte. Jan 4.13
