HSC Death Registry

If an ICU or Medicine patient expires and the chart is no longer available on the unit it has likely gone to the Death Desk. The death desk is on the main floor beside medical records. The proper name for the area called Death Desk here, is the Death Registry.

In the case of ICU patients, once that desk is finished with the chart they will often be found in the transplant audit which is behind the main medical record desk.
