RIS/PACS

RIS/PACS is the medical imaging database used by the WRHA. Some of our data collectors use it to count x-rays for Labs collecting.

Accessing RIS/PACS data

1. collector needs to be set up with rights to RIS/PACS, usually done when Setting up a New Data Collector
2. open the following link in your internet browser (e.g. FireFox) and then drag it to your desktop:
   • https://diviewer.manitoba-ehealth.ca/

This will be installed automatically during Laptop Setup.

Site training and adoption

• All HSC staff have been inserviced on IMPAX.--CMarks 12:20, 2013 October 28 (CDT)

• Vic is wondering: is it possible to arrange other hospitals to get inservices on IMPAX?

Legacy Info - IMPAX

RIS/PACS data used to have to be viewed via installed software IMPAX. As of 2014-01 it can just be accessed via intranet.
