Personal Care Homes (PCHs) are community placements for patients who can not be cared for at home. They are relevant in CCMDB in the following ways:

• the Personal Care Home entry in Pre acute living situation field
• possibly in generating the Overstay colour
• in Awaiting/delayed transfer to long-term care/PCH
• in PCH data dump - storage of lifetime PCH info
