2014-03 laptop slowness

There have been several reports of laptops being slow to enter data over the week leading up to 2014-Mar-26. This is not about sending, we know that this is slower now that we send to the new repository, this question relates to data entry and other work (e.g. email, wiki).

My PC seems to be as fast as usual except maybe for sending:

I have random episodes of slowness. No rhyme or reason to when they occur. I've tried just re-booting the laptop when this occurs, but that generally doesn't help much. Did have some pretty annoying slowness on Monday. The slowness is usually on the registration page when I try to tab from one field to the next, and also on the admit diagnoses and task entries, again, when I'm trying to tab from one field to the next.DPageNewton 13:26, 2014 March 26 (CDT)

• my lap top is freezes and part of my screen is disappearing Judy
  • CTU S4 and N5/S5 laptops are really slow today entering data /when using checkmarks/ the screen will freezed in between changes and then resume normal it is taking a while to enter new information and all of the above.

  • I find right after a new update, my laptop is slow in 2 areas: when tabbing over in registry, entering chart number, etc. Also when using the drop down list for admit from or discharge to. Sometimes there is short periods where it freezes. This is not really new for me. Today it did seem to freeze a bit more than usual though.
