When opening MS Access there is an error
- Microsoft Access can't change the working directory to 'H:\'
- Verify that the drive is valid and the path is 260 characters or less in length.
The only button is "OK" and the program works normally when you click it.
This happens because eHealth defaults our base directory to H:\, our personal network file share. This makes no sense considering we use laptops, but it is convenient for them and they are not willing to change it.
There are two likely causes for this:
- you are not on the network; in that case, just don't worry about it
- your account may not be set up right to map an H:\ drive; we have had this a few times with people who have recently started with us; check that you have an H:\ drive, and if you don't, contact the EHealth ServiceDesk to fix that.
