- we did not have Encephalitis, meningoencephalitis, myelitis, encephalomyelitis, noninfectious in the old coding schema.
- If a patient has a diagnosis of myelitis:
- If the localization is cervical spinal cord, then use: Cervical Myelopathy which is spinal cord compression (59909)
- If not known to be cervical, then use: Neurological Problem Other Problem - OTHER PROBLEMS (59990)
Context
