We might be using that, though, to get the extended desktop going. Some people are getting a "PersistWndName" error when shutting down windows.
According to what used to be MS page is-persistwndnameexe-a-windows-component/71b74037-5156-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5 the solution is to:
