* Checkmarks are checked at many different points in running the program, and if any check ever finds a problem, so the checkmarks becoming unchecked may be as intended. when they get unchecked, does there turn out to be a problem with the data that makes unchecking them correct? Ttenbergen 10:11, 2013 July 31 (CDT)
**Why would a checkmark that was entered on a file previously and STAYED checked suddenly become unchecked when no new information was entered? This has happened to me before.--CMarks 12:49, 2013 July 31 (CDT)
*** Is anyone else getting this? Ttenbergen 17:05, 2013 August 28 (CDT)
** I am talking about checkmarks that were put in well in advance of them being unmarked on my laptop. Many were okay for weeks prior to being removed.--CMarks 11:22, 2013 September 4 (CDT)
*** could be that changes in CCMDB.mdb suddenly mean that errors that were not previously found now are. Is this still happening? Ttenbergen 22:25, 2014 October 6 (CDT)
****No, I am talking about when I enter a brand new patient and I check off ADL or the Temp files or VS if they are complete during that first read of the chart. It used to stay checked off even after I did news and backup. I used it as a quick scan to remind me if there is something in particular that I need to enter when I have the chart in my hands. It used to stay checked but hasn't in a long time.--CMarks 07:57, 2014 October 7 (CDT)
***** The example I gave of an update would have been a on-time-only issue if we added new checks. They should stay checked, if they always uncheck I need to find out why. Just for ADL and tmp?  - Ttenbergen 09:49, 2014 October 9 (CDT)
*My checkmarks uncheck every time I completely shut down my laptop and re-boot. This happens to incomplete patient files only. --CMarks 08:03, 2015 June 26 (CDT)
**have not encountered this issue, my checkmarks all remain Lisa Kaita 07:53, 2015 June 27 (CDT)

I have no idea why; nor even when, my laptop chooses to delete information on a patient file but it does so sporadically. Today I found out that the admitting diagnosis was not there on a patient that I had done prior to their move to another ward. It was easy as they had just one diagnosis but I have noted in the past that checkmarks were deleted after I considered that part of the patient file complete.  Do I have a ghost in the machine or what?? Prior to marking things complete, I check to make sure that they are but apparently this does not matter. (as per Con 2013-07-30)

* does anyone else have problems with data disappearing? Is there any pattern to this, like it happening when a specific field is entered or a button pressed? Ttenbergen 10:11, 2013 July 31 (CDT)

** I found that if I moved my laptop  from one ward to another without logging off somehow the mouse would erase and click on and off stuff I had not entered. So now I log off to transport my laptop. (Shirley)
