[[Category: Work Schedule Information]]
*Vacation entitlement lists are sent to site by February 1 of each year.  The list include seniority hours, vacation weeks entitled to, vacation hours earned for EFT, excess vacation hours earned beyond EFT for those working "extra shifts".  The list of hours earned is as of first week of January of the new year.  Hours shown this list are projected to the Last full pay period of March.  *By the first week of May, the ACTUAL hours of vacation hours earned (for EFT and excess) are available.
*vacation hours earned (for EFT and Excess) are divided as equally as possible during the total number of weeks of vacation a person is entitled to.
*The Vacation Summary on the [[Regional Server]] will show the exact number of vacation days to be paid for each of the vacation weeks selected and approved.    This information will help staff "plan ahead" in regards to the number of shift they must work before or after vacation week(s)to fulfill the required number of shifts for their EFT per week for each 4 week rotation.  Right now you must check with Pagasa or Trish if not sure how to plan you regular shifts around vacation weeks and or stat days.
**Also see: [[Vacation Planner]]
*During your vacation week or when there are stat days, in order to adjust your required shifts ahead of time, you need to know the following:
#What four week work rotation period you are in (see table above)
#how many vacation days will be paid during your selected vacation week
#number of STAT days in the 4 week work rotation period.
#[[EFT and shifts per 4 week rotation]].
*you must adjust your work pattern around your paid vacation week and STATS to ensure you fulfill required number of shifts for your EFT each week of your 4 week rotation.

*for shift that re not picked up during your vacation, you may choose to pick up those shifts immediately & during consecutive weeks when you return from vacation.  If shifts are not picked up during the immediate week you are back, these shift will no longer be available as extra shifts.

*The number of extra shifts made available is at the discretion of management.  There will not always be 100% coverage.

*Vacations earned is divided up amongst weeks vacation entitled to and days are paid the same way that the number of minimum shifts required per week in each 4 week rotation for your EFT.  Staff with flex hours though, must adjust the number of regular shifts they worked in a week before or after vacation based on number of vacation days paid in that week they are away.
[[Category:Work Place Information]]
*Those that have "odd number" EFT's such as 55, 65, 85 etc., work a combination of 2, 3, 4 or 5 day weeks in a 4 week rotation.  A Vacation week is paid the same way however, your regular working shifts must be adjusted ahead of time,  therefore you must know if you are being paid: 2, 3, 4 or 5 vacation days during you selected week off.
*When stats fall on a week you take vacation then number of regular days worked vs number of vacation days paid need to be adjusted.
**Example, if you work 13 shifts in 4 week rotation and you are being paid a 4 days of vacation in the week off and there are 2 stats, like this weekend, then one vacation paid day must be included in the next weeks pay period.
