Work hours
Actual hours "at work" for a shift:
- MNU 8.25 hours
- CUPE 8.00 hours
Actual hours "paid" for a shift:
- MNU 7.75 hours
- includes:
- "two" 15 minute paid breaks and
- "one" 30 minute unpaid meal break
- CUPE 7.50 hrs
- there are no half day shifts unless posted by management.
Hours of work can be:
Day shifts only.
Start and end times:
- 07:00 to 15:15 hrs
- 07:30 to 15:45 hrs
- 08:00 to 16:15 hrs
- 08:30 to 16:45 hrs
- 09:00 to 17:15 hrs
Hours per year
2015 hrs = full time hours
Stat days per year
12 stat days
- no scheduled work days on stat days
Pay weeks per year
52 weeks
Number of two week pay periods per year
26, two week pay periods
Number of four week rotations per year

Attendance of meetings
- there are 4 mandatory collection team meetings each year. They are scheduled 1 year in advance and are always held on a Wednesday.
- attending these meeting is a requirement and is in the job description
- with the current "self scheduling," staff must schedule themselves to be at work for a 7.75 hrs shift on a team meeting date.
- The 2 hr meeting is part of the shift, it is not an extra 2 hrs of pay.
