AP Sys BP Field: Difference between revisions

The AP Sys BP data input field records systolic blood pressure value.
It is used for the MOST score.
It is also one of the values used to calculate the Mean Blood Pressure Instructions for APACHE II.
- for MOST - Value selected is one that is "closest to the time" the medicine service physician "accepts" the patient to the medicine service from the emergency department.
- for selecting BP values for APACHE II, please refer to: Mean Blood Pressure Instructions

to be clear: does that mean there are different instructions for this field for critical care and for medicine? If so, it might be good to word it that way as well. Folks other than DCs might read this... Ttenbergen 15:10, 22 December 2008 (CST)

The AP Sys BP must be >=25 And <=360.
