The date and time formats for the Critical Care and Medicine Databasea are:

  • month / day / year
    • Please be extra careful not to transpose month and day
  • HH:mm
    • on the 24 hour clock, i.e. 00:01 – 23:59
    • (resolve from discussion)

Discussion

  • I pulled this out of admit/discharge time because at least the data part also applies to DOB, and all of it also applies to tmp collections. Except maybe the midnight rule, but that's the next comment. Ttenbergen 09:37, 11 February 2009 (CST)
  • when I grabbed this from admit and discharge, it had "0000 & 2400 is not acceptable". In the admit/discharge article it refers to using 23:59 for midnight exactly. Are there other places where that should be used? If not, then the midnight rule should be added here and removed from the admit/discharge. Ttenbergen 09:37, 11 February 2009 (CST)
