Voluven is a blood plasma substitute collected by the CCMDB as part of Labs.

- In labs we have always collected blood products: Packed cells, FFP, Albumin, etc. Volvuven, while not technically a blood product is used as a volume expander and is an artificial colloid (used in some situations instead of a blood product).
