OBS tag for CON patient in ER telemetry used to be stored here. The 4 patients that have been tagged in Variable slot 2 with OBS have had this code moved to ICU var 1 in master database. | |||

ICU Var 2 currently the following options:
- BRR - tag used for Cardiac Arrest Cooling Protocol. Click HERE for more information.
- Started June 2004. Consistent application of code didn't start at all sites until about Aug 2004?
- XBR
- MAP- tag used to track those patient with an MI who have been put on the MI Care Map.
- started November 2004.
If both BRR and MAP are used coding BRR takes precedence over MAP.
Can the MAP be eliminated
