This batch file creates a backup of the "batch sent" csv files that each data collector sends in weekly to the Regional Server (twister).
- When the data processor runs the PDA Uploader .exe, to upload CSV files into the Master ICU or Medicine database, this program automatically copies a batch sent CSV dat file over to a folder on the data processors C drive.
From:
- C:\CritPDAdnld\ImportReady (Critical Care data TMSX )
- C:\MEDPDAdnld\ImportReady (Medicine data MedTMS )
TO:
- C:\CritPDAdnld\Importbackup
- C:\MedPDAdnld\Importbackup
Additional backups done with CSV files
- Every Month:
- Data Processor compresses the CSV files in the Importbackup folder using WINZIP. (which is stored on her C drive).
- Data Processor copies these zipped file onto a CD. The CD is kept in a binder along with a paper log. (The paper log is a list of the files that are included in the zipped file on the CD).--TOstryzniuk 15:35, 12 February 2009 (CST)
