MedTMS (Medicine Template Master Series) or TMSX (Template Master Series-X) is the primary repository for the Medicine/Critical Care database. The software encrypts our data, does some integrity checking and provides a front end to do some data analysis. The data is stored locally on each PC that uses the program, necessitating regular data updates. Additionally, the program is locally installed on each PC, so updates and fixes need to be applied for any PC where it is installed.
- The MedTMS software is only used at the main HSC database administration office.
- The TMSX software is used in the main office at HSC and by the Critical Care team at STB (St Boniface General Hospital). STB only has STB data.
- If these programs are not available at a site refer to the Data Access Application Process.
TMSX Support and Contacts
TMSX/MedTMS is proprietary software developed for us by Template Master Series LTD. Programmer: Ed Roberts.
Trish manages the updates for the software. In her absence, Julie Mojica can provide updates.
Details
- No other sites have the MedTMS program other than the main database administration office.
- STB uses the ICU (TMSX) database program. Trish keeps database administration office and STB patched in with the latest programs and tables.
- Pagasa updates database administration office with the latest data files daily from her Master database.
- STB only gets STB related data files updated when the data collector at the site requests it. Update is copied up to the Regional Server. The collector then copies the update from the Regional server to the correct folder on their local drive.
- ICU Programs (GRA, OAK, VIC, CON), no longer use the database program at their site therefore updates are not done.
- Julie and Trish are the contacts for these updates.
