Revision as of 18:42, 13 January 2009

The CCMDB.mdb and our sent data are located on the Regional Server which is at STB. Due to the way this server is accessed at HSC, some people refer to the Regional Server as "Twister".

Server / Share names

At all hospitals other than HSC, the Regional Server is accessed as

  • \\sbghnwfs0102\nssvol1\shared\icu_Data_Collection\

At HSC, the regional server is usually accessed under

  • \\Twister\icu\

It is now possible to access the regional server from HSC directly as at the other hospitals, but this is generally slower.

Requesting Access to the Regional Server

To request access to our share on the regional server from eHealth, this form needs to be filled out, signed by the Data Collection Manager and sent in as per instructions on the form.

Support

The Regional Server is maintained by Lorne Mansky from eHealth. If there are problems accessing the regional server, contact the eHealth ServiceDesk, and they will generate a work order for Lorne.
