- Have wireless in all areas of the hospital except the Atrium. --LKolesar 07:22, 2014 July 7 (CDT)
- Would access in the Atrium be helpful? If so I would ask eHealth about this. It might be a matter of the laptop defaulting to the wrong wireless in that area, I would not be surprised if wireless were actually available there. If you ask and get an answer please put it here. Ttenbergen 10:05, 2015 August 27 (CDT)
- There is no reason to have wireless in the atrium as this is not a clinical area.
- It may not be clinical, but it is an open space where employees from other sites can hover with their laptops. I am almost sure I have used mine there, that's why I am surprised to hear no access. Ttenbergen 17:21, 2018 March 21 (CDT)

- We do not have wireless in the data offices either because they are not located within the hospital. Our offices are in the Education Building which is not a clinical area. --LKolesar 09:29, 2016 November 30 (CST)
- That makes sense, since that building is neither clinical nor high-traffic, and almost anyone who would be there would be tethered. And, all brick, so you'd likely need an access point every 3 feet.
Wireless setup
To use wireless networking, eHealth needs to do the following:
- ensure that the laptop is added to the wireless networking list
- ensure that the drivers are set up right
Both of this is done as part of Laptop Setup.
