Notes:
  • I have a question. If a patient has ischemic colitis, should we be coding ischemic bowel? Ischemic colitis is an inflammation of the bowel from the temporary loss of blood flow. Ischemic bowel is an actual area of damage from ischemia. It is like a tia of the bowel. Anyway, just want to ask how to code ischemic colitis.--LKolesar 10:46, 2012 June 21 (CDT)
