Notes: (N+V, diarrhea, abd pain, dehydration) May 28.04
- I notice some people use this diagnosis for just nausea and vomiting. Is this OK? --LKolesar 13:43, 2016 July 20 (CDT)
- Sometimes it's just N&V or diarrhea alone or dehydration secondary to N,V +/- diarrhea but pt doesn't qualify for any sort of shock state so this code has been used this way for years.--CMarks 14:33, 2016 July 20 (CDT)
- Yes we were told to use this code years ago for nausea and vomiting.GHall 11:29, 2016 July 21 (CDT)
