Question to collectors

Template:Discussion What type of information do you get from echart that you cannot get on EPR?Trish Ostryzniuk 19:11, 2014 November 12 (CST)

CON

  • I am unable to access echart on the laptop via My Citrix Apps or echart shortcut. (Able to access on desktops throughout the hospital). A dialogue box pops up : "Workstation (laptop ID) is not in Database. Please contact your system administrator". Should this request for access be done by Trish or Tina??Mlaporte 10:40, 2013 December 16 (CST)
    • Thanks Marie, I have sent a ticket to eHealth to find out more (INC000000529858). Ttenbergen 16:25, 2013 December 16 (CST)
      • Tina and or Marie - did this get solved, if so remove from here.Trish Ostryzniuk 20:12, 2014 October 8 (CDT)Template:Discussion
        • I don't know if this was resolved. Marie? Considering the info I got from eHealth re. how this is set up, you should be able to access this from your laptop if you can access it from other PCs. Ttenbergen 12:01, 2014 October 20 (CDT)

VIC

  • We are able to use EChart at the Vic to access labs/xrays
    • Aren't X-Rays on RIS/PACS viewer? Ttenbergen 10:16, 2014 October 9 (CDT) Template:Discussion
    • I understand the reports for the xrays and labs are also on EPR, no? Ttenbergen 14:18, 2014 October 23 (CDT)

GRA

  • I am able to access sometimes, other times I have password issues. This is being followed by EHealth.
    • Is that still a problem? Does this follow any patterns with which laptop you are using at the time? Ttenbergen 10:16, 2014 October 9 (CDT) Template:Discussion

OAK

  • I do not have access as a data collector but would like to. I find it a less cumbersome site to navigate than EPR and would find it much easier to do lab tallies should we ever go paperless at SOGH. When I attempt to log in from my laptop, I am denied access even though I have a password that works when I am working at other computers.--Lpruden2 09:09, 2014 October 7 (CDT)

HSC

STB

I do not use E chart as I find everything that I need on EPR and the paper chart combination. --LKolesar 12:48, 2014 October 8 (CDT)

Set-up

The shortcut ends up on all desktops automatically now, but I think the laptops would need to be added to the permission list. I have emailed the service desk to find out more. Adding discussion tag to put in question category for follow-up. Ttenbergen 10:13, 2014 October 9 (CDT)

As per Tong Lin from eHealth:

  • Some of the WRHA desktop might not have an eChart icon on the desktop, but everyone should able to access eChart through Internet Explorer by going to http://echart.manitoba-ehealth.ca/Manitoba link.
  • For access eChart from different sites, since eChart is a web based application, as long as you are in a WRHA site on WRHA network, you can access eChart as long as the username is given rights to.
