Med Var 1 is used track the specific ward a patient was admitted from within the same center only. If a patient is admitted from a ward outside your hospital, leave Var 1 blank.

To do before de-stubbing

  • book says "(example of specific location code as shown on page 69)" but that just lists all medicine locations where we collect.
  • are these only used where we collect on the other ward as well? Is that why "center" is used instead of "hospital"?
