  • As of this January 21, 2014, TMSX Pharmacy.dat is now moved from main data processing computer to three other main office computers using CC_Reg_Update.bat


CC Pharm FROM scanner computer, is a batch file is used to automatically copies the TMSX pharmacy.dat from the second data processing computer to the main data processing computer. This files use pre_crit.bat to get its file locations.

File is stored on the main data processing computer on C:/ccmis_backup folder.

this has been DISABLED since we don't have a second data entry person since March 2008.

This batch file copies the Pharmacy data file for the critical care database TMSX FROM the scanner PC TO Pagasa, Julie and Trish the main office.

It required the coordiation between two data entry staff in main office to ensure that manual or electronic addition into the master pharm.dat for TMSX did not overwrite any pharm data. Manual entery could not be done until after electronic appending was done. When electronic appending was done, main processor would first run CC Pharm to scanner.bat. Main processor would not be able to append anymore data while manual entry was being done into pharm.dat on another computer. When main processor was ready to append again, and manual HSC pharmacy entry was done, the second processor would have to stop entry and the main processor would run the CC Pharm from scanner.bat. Main processor would then be able to append electronic ICU data into TMSX. Once she was done, she would push the pharm.dat back to scanner computer using CC pharm TO scanner.bat. Process would be repeated when needed when there was manual pharmacy to be entered by a second person.

The HSC pharmacy staff where collecting the pharmacy data manually on paper. It was entered by a second data processor on a separate computer and not on the master database computer.
