Checking for duplicates in MS Access

This article tells how to check for duplicates in MS Access Data.
Steps
- Create
- Go to Query Design
- It will "Show Table"
- Call the table name you want to get find out the duplicate 2014_Sept_16_Province_New_fixed
- double-click twice on the field you want to check for duplication
- Right click into the criteria field for one of the column/fields you picked and click (Total)
- Then click Count for one, leave the other as "Group by"
- Then put the criteria you can put (>1)this means you want to see D_ID's present more than once (duplicate, triplicate...)
- Then click DataSheetView.
- anything listed is at least a duplicate
