Associate Professor in the Dept of Medicine, Microbiology, Pharmacology & Therapeutics at the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Medicine.
In 2004 Dr. Kumar launched a study to determine time to antibiotics to knock out infections. He has utilized the Regional ICU Database to help him in his work related to infections. His research has contributed to protocols in Winnipeg as well as around the world are being changed speed up the delivery of antibiotics to patients who experience Septic Shock
