Laura suggested using [[Mechanism of injury: other NOS]], but do we want something more specific.
** Another possibility would be to introduce the concept of "potential trauma" and change the cross check similar to potential infection. We would need to identify all dxs on the wiki that are potential traumas and might need to be coded with mechanisms. * 2023-08-09 - reviewed this, and it turns out [[Anoxic brain injury, NOS]] was not assigned to [[:Category:Potential trauma]], but [[Respiratory tract, foreign body in]] was. Assigned [[Lightning injury]] to this as well. No change to the query.
2019-05-14 - simplified listing
* 2019-09-11 - introduced [[:Category:Potential trauma]] to allow things like [[Anoxic brain injury, NOS]] that may or may not be traumas to be coded combined with things like [[Mechanism of injury: hanging or strangulation (accidental or intentional)]]
2019-05-09 - used to only check that mechanisms had traumas, added check that traumas have mechanisms.
