* For example:  a pt with a primary site of bowel cancer which has mets to the liver would be coded as follows: 
** Bowel-non-metatstatic
** Liver-metastatic

  • Non metastatic in our program refers to the primary site.
  • Metastatic in our program refers to the site where the the cancer has spread to.
