When opening Access CCMDB.mdb, cannot view dropdown list in labs, or pharm or even the DX codes. Weird things in note section......to name a few things. Access has seized up on local laptop for reason unclear.....
- If data files are not aligning with program files for a specific site, this is what can be done if what is causing corruption cannot be identified:
- Instruction: How to replace local laptop C:\ Ccmbd program\ccmdb.mdb
- Close out of Access program on laptop.
- Go to:Regional Server
- find: Program folder
- then find: Master folder
- double click to enter into the Master folder and see ccmdb.mdb
- right click and select COPY ccmdb.mdb from this folder.
- On the Regional Server go back to Program folder
- find the specific Hosp_Loc PROGRAM folder that needs the update
- double click to enter into the file folder
- right click and select PASTE
- Go to the Desktop on laptop.
- Click on News and Backup
- on local laptop, go to C:\ Ccmdb_data\ccmdb.mdb
- double click to open ccmdb.mdb with usual password. IMPORTANT NOTE: will only see L_files.
- at the very top of the Access program screen, click on TOOLS menu.
- select Database Utilities
- select Compact and Repair Database
- close out of C:\ Ccmdb_data\ccmdb.mdb by clicking the "X" in the top right corner.
- on local laptop, go to: C:\Ccmbd program\ccmdb.mdb folder.
- double click to log into ccmdb.mdb with usual password.
- Problem should be resolved. The Access program file should now be realigned with Access data file.
