TScanReader.exe

C:/TMSX/TScanReader.exe is a component program of TMSX used in Tiss Form Scanning.

TScanReader.exe takes the TISS data that is exported from the scanner using Teleform and uploads TISS data into TMSX.

• TScanReader.exe does the following:
  • ICU-C:/Tfrm6/Exp/tftiss.ps copy to: C:/CritTfrm6 and relabels it to tscanX.txt, upload to: C:/TMSX/data/tiss.dat, back up copy to: C:/CritTfrm6/Recorded/TScanX001 (automatically assigning a batch append number).

ICU_TScanReader.exe Setup

ICU_TScanReader.exe is set up to

• read from
  • C:\tfrm6\
  • C:\tfrm6\exp\
• write to
  • c:\CritTfrm6\
  • c:\CritTfrm6\Recorded

These directories are set up automatically if the install instructions for TMSX in TMSX Setup are followed.

Legacy Data

When we still collected iTISS there used to be a counterpart exe for scanning it.

• For Medicine the iTISS upload program is called: TScanStudy.exe
  • Medicine-C:/MedTMS/TScanStudy.exe
• TScanStudy.exe (Medicine), does the following:
  • Med - C:/Tfrm6/Exp/MedTest5.ps copy to: C:MedTfrm6 and relabels it to MedTest5.txt, upload to: C:/MedTMS/data/itiss.dat, backup copy to: C:/MedTfrm6/Recorded/MedTest5001 (automatically assigning a batch append number).
