Location profile
Non-acute Medical/Geri rehab unit, patients are almost always medically stable with discharge planning, examples include PCH, Geri-rehab, or HC. Should these patients develop acute medical problems, they are discharged from S3.
The unit is split between Medicine and Family Medicine services:
- S3 - we collect
- 14 beds allocated for VMU/CTU Medicine patients - medicine patients we collect
- Room numbers 301-1 to 318-4
- S3 Family Medicine - we do not collect - if patient is from/to here, enter as Vic Ward
- 14 beds allocated for Family Medicine patients (FM patients are not entered into the Database).
