There is no specific ICD10 diagnosis code for CAP. Instead, a pneumonia is a CAP if it doesn't meet the criteria for either a HAP (Hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP) in ICD10) or VAP (Pneumonia, ventilator-associated (VAP)).

CAP should not be coded as an Acquired Diagnosis.

What does that even mean, since we don't have a code for CAP?
