*Tina: discussed with Julie, the minimal data set for pending mdb was serial, admit date, time, site and location.  A collectors ability to send to pending mdb should not be held up if admit date or time is not entered yet.  Min data set for pending is serial, site, location. ** The admit date has always been a required element for all patients. PDA Pending is only one thing that uses this, there are other checks that depend on it. There is no specific minimal data set for pending, really the minimal data set is relevant only to pending patient but applies to all patients but. An Access database that resides on the Regional Server. It contains a list of patient still on each unit whose data has not been sent in yet.

  • Used by statistician to calculate occupancy and to monitor and track outstanding data profiles.
  • The Minimal Data Set MUST be entered on the PDA so that this data will get sent to this Access database.
