The Critical Care and Medicine Database tries to match all records against the Provincial Patient Registry]].
This significantly improves our matching of patients from one stay to another. It also improves utility of our data once de-identified and sent to MCHP.
We used to follow the described in Crosschecking data with Manitoba Health but it is currently broken. We are working on a new one.
Now that data comes from Using Cognos2 to keep track of patients it should really be up-to-date.
