The Autopsy field is used in TMSX to store whether a deceased patient had an autopsy. At the collection end this is actually coded in a combined field, Survive / Expired to prevent the unfortunate combination survive - autopsy.

Autopsy Report follow up and Review & DX code Process
We used to review autopsy reports for deceased patients. Initially the existing diagnoses were updated with findings from the autopsy report, and later findings from the autopsy report were collected in empty admit or acquired slots and marked as subcode "50".
