It was determined that our collection practice was likely to miss whether a patient had an autopsy, so it was decided to discontinue collection
As of version v1.7 an "N" has been sent for the autopsy field.
As of 1 Jan 2010 the autopsy options are replaced by just an "expire" field. Output doesn't change.

We used to review autopsy reports for deceased patients. Initially the existing diagnoses were updated with findings from the autopsy report, and later findings from the autopsy report were collected in empty admit or acquired slots and marked as subcode "50".
