The Dispo field is a new field proposed by Dr Garland and the Task group to combine the " Discharge To" and " Lived/Died".

-"Strongly consider combining the “Discharge to” and “lived/died” field into a single ICU Dispo field that codes everything we need.  This is more efficient, eliminate the error of discordant coding of these 2 current fields.  The argument that we can use the 2 existing fields to find errors missing the point, the duplication is a big possible SOURCE of errors."
