*Question regarding Von Willebrands disease: When a pt has Von Willebrands disease (which we do not have a code for), should we put hemophilia or just "other hematological problems"? Von Willebrands is similiar to Hemophilia in that it is lacking a factor 8 related protein in the clotting cascade. It is more common and not as severe. Just wondered if putting hemophilia would be OK or not?? | *Question regarding Von Willebrands disease: When a pt has Von Willebrands disease (which we do not have a code for), should we put hemophilia or just "other hematological problems"?
