This is a temporary project to track source collectors use to abstract when a patient is accepted by Medicine or ICU service from the Emergency Department.

Operation Planning - Patient Flow. Region Managers and Director are monitoring and tracking patient flow from the 'emergency department' to their unit. The data helps support any changes needed to improve patient flow from ER to unit.

We currently track Accept Date/Time however, we need to identify the "source" that this information is being abstracted from by collectors in Region. We are starting a short term project in order to do this.

HSC

At HSC, Director of Medical Records states that there should be a white form on chart - ER Department - Request for Admission to Inpatient Unit. (I asked them to fax me copy). Vic has this form.
