The L_ files and tables are where the actual patient data is stored. L_ stands for "Local", in contrast to the S Files.

There are L_ files on your PDA, which is where HanDBase stores its L_ tables. Copies of these files are located on the desktop PC and on the network in the L_Handbase folder, and there in a subdirectory corresponding to the location of the PDA. The L_ files sync into the L_ tables of the same name in the CCMDB.mdb Access program.
