Diabetic hyperosmolar conditions

We have the following codes that deal with diabetic hyperosmolar conditions:

• Diabetes mellitus acute complication: Non-ketotic hyperosmolar state
• Diabetic coma

• If the patient has non-ketotic hyperosmolar state AND coma, then code both Diabetes mellitus acute complication: Non-ketotic hyperosmolar state AND Diabetic coma since you can have NKHS without coma.
