what is included in extremities

  • # clavicle, scapula are included in the in code 651 or 652. This is not a change. Clavicle # was included with extremity fracture since beginnings.--Trish Ostryzniuk 14:54, 2015 July 6 (CDT)
  • anything including and distal to the femoral head is an extremity fracture.
  • anything including and proximal to the acetabulum is a pelvic fracture. --as per orthopedic nurse: LKolesar 12:51, 2013 July 9 (CDT)
