Just wondering since cellulitis/abscesses are typically bacterial infections, should Disorder of oral mucosa (mouth, lips, tongue), NOS be used instead combined with Infectious disease NOS and Herpes Simplex virus (HSV)? This then would be consistent with other infection coding guidelines whereby there is no specific infection code. Thank you.
