To set up a new location...

• if new collectors will be working there, see Setting up a New Data Collector
• as needed:
  • getting a PC/printer (talk to Tom Fraser)
  • getting a network drop and/or local IT (talk to Tom Fraser)
  • getting a laptop (talk to Tom Fraser)
  • get a phone line...
  • arrange for access to a fax

Setting up the Laptop for a new Location

• add new location directories to program and data directories on Regional Server
• set News and backup/Batstart.bat to new location
• tell CCMDB.mdb about location: set A_Info/Settings (CCMBD.mdb) to new location

• test sending and n&b to make sure new location and directory name don't break anything
