EPR Reports
This article contains instructions on how to use EPR reports to identify transfers, admissions and discharges for any given time frame and for any given ward or unit.
- Go to Citrix Apps on Desktop
- Click on EPR Reports
- Log in utilizing same username and password as your first log in into the computer (NOT the xxdc one)
- Click on "patient list reports"
- Defining the different report options:
- Transfer register: are those patients who come to your location within the hospital or are transferred out from your location within the local hospital. (This includes the local ER and any wards, units within the local hospital).
- To use Transfer register: Select hospital site; choose "date from" and "date to"; put in specific unit; choose from or to location if you want both; click "view report" in upper R corner. Once it is populated, you can print the information by clicking on the print icon below the dark blue line.
- You can then go back to "patient list reports" (selection at the top of the blue section) and choose another register if desired.
- Admissions register: are those patients that come to your location from outside your local hospital.
- To use Admission register, the options are basically the same as the transfer register.
- Discharge register: are those patients that either die or are discharged to a place outside the local hospital.
- To use Discharge register, most options are the same, the only difference is you need to put in "ALL" in attending providers to make it work.
Who has access to EPR reports?
- Is it only your sites, or all sites in Regional.
- Do you use them to obtain transfers admits and discharges?
Access to all sites
- Lisa Kaita - all sites and use them to get list for unit tranfers, admits, discharges
- Laura Kolesar - all sites and use it for transfers, admits and discharges
- Marla Penner -Yes, I have rights to EPR reports for other hospitals through the EPR.
- Lois Bilesky - I can get reports from other sites
- Elaine Nagy
- Stephanie Cortilet - full access to all sites for Discharge Reports, Admission Registry & Transfer Registry. No access to Activity Register, Pt. Census & Emergency Log
- Lorri Pruden - use it for OAK and it appears that I have access to all sites
- Pamela Piche - access to EPR reports for unit transfers, admits, and discharges for all sites
Access to own site only
- Myra Schaffer - no access (Lisa tried with her)
- Oct 24.16 - Myra to follow up with Ehealth and advise Trish
- Louise Lemoine - Can get in using regular HSC login and not the xxdc one.
- Joanna Velasco - Has rights to EPR reports with regular HSC login and not the xxdc one. Have not been using. Will check if can use for transfer, admit, discharges instead of patient list.

- Con Marks - I can open HSC for some things. I could only get transfers. I cannot see other hospitals. I don’t understand how a list like this will save time. From what I see, you cannot save a list which means that every day you work you need to spend time generating a bunch of lists. How is this functional? I think we would benefit from in-servicing if we are expected to use this tool.
