Encounter number
"Definition of encounter # is the number of admissions to the database of the same patient. "
- It is used to capture the number of readmission for a specific patient database.
- In the past encounter number was generated by database program utilty, but now only by the statistician.
- It might be what will be in ICU Admission Links and/or Medicine Admission Links. If it's only in one, then what is the other called and do we have an article for it? Ttenbergen 22:56, 2012 November 1 (EDT)
