  • I copied from Dr Garland's task minutes the following: "add 2 drugs to what previously was a single agent, anciximab (ReoPro). This class is called IIb-IIIa inhibitors, and also includes: eptifibatide (integrilin) and tirofiban (Aggrastat)." What am I actually supposed to do with these? Discussion

  • Review at TASK Meeting Feb 10.12 - The current label in new pharmacy collection for opiods is “continuous” infusion. “Continuous” is pretty specific term. Patient Control Analgesia pump is not generally understood to be used for continuous infusions. Colleague pumps are generally used for continuous infusions.
  • If it was understood by task team that opiods delivered intermittently via PCA pumps was also to be included then the label for category 11 should be changed to: opiods “IV syringe” infusion, intermittent or continuous.Trish Ostryzniuk 17:15, 2012 February 9 (CST)
