Mapping Database Diagnosis Codes to APACHE II (old)

APACHE II has its own Diagnostic Categories with assigned weights that are used in a formula to predict risk of death. The Regional Database Diagnostic Codes have been mapped to these APACHE II Diagnostic Categories.

- The ICU/Medicine database diagnostic codes have been mapped to the APACHE II categories by Dr. Carla Chrusch with some help from Trish in 2003 then Kendiss Olafson with Julie in 2005.
