Med Var 2 is used track the specific ward a patient was discharged to. The statistician uses this data to detect patients with a continuous hospital stay.

Once CCMDB.mdb_Change_Log_2012#ver_2012-01-05 is rolled out, Enter the specific ward at any hospital that the patient was discharged to after leaving your ward. Possible values are listed in the Var 2 dropdown box. If the ward is not available in the dropdown or can't be determined from charting, choose "OTH".
