*the above name shortening is not good, creates confusion and folks are using this code for other reason for violent behaviour. This is not what we want.  Please fix wording in ccmdb.[[User:TOstryzniuk|Trish Ostryzniuk]] 12:13, 2012 July 16 (CDT)
** Trish, I can make it longer in the CCMDB.mdb, but it won't be visible because the field is too short. Have a look in your version of the program to see what I mean. If you give me a wording that will fit the field I can update. Maybe "Violence" rather than Violent Behaviour... something like that. Even partial words or abbreviations would be OK as long as they cause looking up rather than assuming. [[User:Ttenbergen|Ttenbergen]] 10:32, 2012 July 17 (CDT)

Violent behavior secondary to Dementia it the only "specific" reason we are tracking violent behavior. We will not change this until we go to ICU10. As discussed with Dr. Allan Garland. Trish Ostryzniuk 12:13, 2012 July 16 (CDT)

In ICD-10 coding, this single entity becomes a co-code of Violent behavior + the appropriate type of dementia.

Do not use code for non-dementia violence

There are psychological problems we code however, we do not differentiate if violence is or is not associated with the any of the following conditions:

The full name in the coding guide is "VIOLENT BEHAVIOR - 2nd TO MODERATE/ SEVERE DEMENTIA" but had to be shortened to fit into the CCMDB.mdb.
